Located about ten kilometers from the capital Tunis, the University of Manouba is a public institution for higher education and scientific research, distinguished by its exceptional 30-hectare campus, the only one of its kind in Tunisia. Founded in 2000, it offers a unique geographical space conducive to interdisciplinary exchanges and synergy between fields as diverse as humanities, social sciences, technical and experimental sciences, literature, and the arts.

The University of Manouba plays a leading role in Tunisia’s academic landscape, with a student body of 17,040 and 1,413 teachers for the academic year 2023-2024. It houses several prestigious institutions, including the Tunis Business School, the Higher Institute of Accounting and Business Administration (ISCAE), and the National School of Computer Science (ENSI), further strengthening its national and international influence.

Renowned for its high-quality academic support and modern facilities, the university stands as a hub for research and innovation, with productive research structures in various fields, including the humanities, biological sciences, technology, and economics. It is also actively committed to entrepreneurship, as evidenced by its recent distinction, in July 2024, as the first university for entrepreneurship in Africa and the MENA region.

A member of the Union of Mediterranean Universities and the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie, the University of Manouba contributes to intercultural dialogue and international cooperation, enhancing its role as a key player in higher education in Tunisia. Its specialized programs, unique in the country, such as those offered by the Institute of Press and Information Sciences (IPSI) and the Higher Institute of Documentation (ISD), as well as the Higher School of Digital Economy, reflect its forward-thinking approach and commitment to the future of education and the economy.

With a high student-to-teacher ratio and strong interdisciplinary dynamics, the University of Manouba stands out as a model of academic excellence and a driver of innovation for Tunisia and beyond.
